You work directly with the founder or business owner paying for the product, not through
an account manager. You design, build, ship and explain your own work, and you hear
first-hand what happened when real people used it.
The stack is deliberately boring, so nobody learns a framework on a client's budget and
everyone knows exactly how things fail. Your energy goes into the product, not the tooling.
We ship something usable every week and we quote fixed prices. That second part matters
more than it sounds: overtime comes out of our margin, not the client's invoice, so we plan
work to fit the week rather than stretch the week to fit the work.
Never more than two projects at once. You finish things and see them used, rather than
being spread thin across a portfolio.
